Shimano Deore CS-M6100 12 Speed Cassette

The Shimano Deore CS-M6100 12 Speed Cassette is very good value for money. This cassette is, just like the SLX, XT and XTR 12 speed cassettes, equipped with the Hyperglide+ technique. During this progress, the chain is given a special grind. This makes shifting quick and smooth under all circumstances. You can recognize this special grinding by the shifting lines in the cassette and some teeth that are half-sharpened.
Besides smooth shifting, this cassette also provides very good power transfer. The first 7 sprockets are mounted together on a spider, which makes the cassette extra stiff.

Shimano MicroSpline Body
The Shimano Deore M6100 cassette should be mounted on a Shimano MicroSpline body. This body is designed to fit 12 speed cassettes with a '10' as the smallest sprocket. This '10' gives the cassette an even greater range, allowing you to keep pedalling at high speeds.
For many wheels, only the body needs to be replaced. These loose bodies can be found here.
